I was here the first time almost 30 years ago. It seems as if time stood still since then. It's nice to get back to a place you enjoyed in your youth. But you get sad If you see that the place hast not been well maintained. When we were there they we're painting some rooms, but usally you would solve other Things before painting. Most of the roofs have to be done, some parts are about to fall apart, there ist mold in the rooms. Only cah is accepted, No upi, Creditcard... It's sad to see what happens to a once so beautiful heritage Hotel. But one thing that has not changed within 30 years the food is tasty, the stuff is friendly and always helpful, this is what gives you a pleasant stay anyway (only therefore i gave 3 Stars, otherwise it would be 1 for the rooms)

Perfect valley view location with a vintage feel to the property. The owners are well mannered cooperative people. Room for improvement: No internet in the rooms. Very very small crt tv available in the room. Hot water on two hours in the morning. Rooms are very average for the price.

Right on the outskirts of Matheran market. Rooms have an outdoor sitting area with tables and chairs. They have an excellent view from the pool area. I really liked the nice old style service in the restaurant. Friendly English speaking staff.

Property was serene, pool was private and had a stunning valley view, food was excellent and guests get a 25% discount also day's menu is shared in the morning so you can plan which meal you want to go for. indoor games like badminton, TT, …

A magnificent vintage hotel with brilliant views & mind-boggling settings. The swimming pool is also well maintained & the food is also good. A must visit/stay when in Matheran.

Although the rooms were old and small, for the price range, the property was very well maintained and clean. The pool was a lot of fun and clean. The view and the food were definitely the highlight. The staff was extremely polite and very helpful. My family really enjoyed the stay.

Home away from Home. Great Location Great Food. Loving Owners. Excellent Service. Nostalgic feel of the 60"s 70's. This is a Unique Classy Resort away from the Blaring Modern Lights and Ways . Steeped in Nostalgia with Mesmerizing Views . You CANT afford to miss this place especially in the Monsoons. If U haven't yet come you are Missing out on a Great Heartfelt Experience. Try and Prioritise immediately.
